This year's Senior and Junior Sportspersons Awards Night is to be held on Friday 11th June, at the Winchelsea Globe Theatre. Tickets on sale from Liz Tench at the Winchelsea Pharmacy (5267 2198 business hours, or 5267 2007 at home).

Entry is by prepaid ticket only!

$30 for adults, $15 for juniors (16 and under). Table bookings of 8 are also available).

This will be the 37th Sportsperson Of The Year for Winchelsea, and guest speaker is Brian Cook, chief executive officer of the Geelong Football Club. The dinner includes a 4-course meal, BYO drinks.

The dinner is an event organised by the Winchelsea Eastern Reserve Committee, with all proceeds going to the Eastern Reserve Development - comprehensive community and sports facilities gradually being built according to a Master Plan, to service Winchelsea and surrounding communities. So far, new netball courts, returfing (including recycled watering system) and more has been achieved, with much more to come!
