The Geelong Advertiser Business Excellence Awards for 2010 are holding a workshop in Winchelsea, for any local businesses and organisations that may be interested in entering this year's competition. The Business Excellence Awards is a great opportunity to promote and gain recognition of your business and have it reviewed by a panel of independent judges.

As you may be aware, both the Winchelsea Community Bank Company and Countrywide Cottages (Di Schultz) enter last year and were successful in winning awards. Jeremy Morris, Senior Manager, says "Our entry wasn’t with intent to win but more for ‘self assessment’ of our business and review by the judges. Winning was a bonus and resulted in great recognition and exposure of our business. Having being involved in the awards last year and the value that gained by entering, we have decided with other regional Community Banks to sponsor a new category being Regional Business."

The workshop is from 6pm through 8pm on Thursday 4th March at the Winchelsea Branch.
