The Lions Club of Winchelsea has a 50-year tradition of community service - active locally within the town and surrounds, the state, nationwide and internationally. Winchelsea Lions have been involved in numerous projects and activities over the years, including the building of the Town Clock (next to the old Library near the bluestone bridge) as the most easily visible achievement. More than building things, the Lions Club also offers support to all who need it, particularly in times of loss or hardship.

Fundraising events and activities include paper recycling, the sale of sheep manure, a much-enjoyed mobile sausage-sizzle van and other events. The club sponsors individuals, organisations and events throughout the year.
